Getting started with Jira IQ
Do you want to get more control over the work planned in Jira? Or are you struggling to find a way to improve data quality in Jira without frustrating your teams with blocking workflow validations?
Quality Custodian for Jira helps you getting your data quality in Jira on point and allows you to choose how strong these standards will be enforced!
You can define the quality standards for your team!
Teams will see how their issues score against these quality standards!
Teams do not have to be stopped in their process, but if needed, you can choose to!
Install the App
Log in to your Jira Cloud instance as an administrator.
Click the Settings icon in the upper right corner and select Apps.
Search for ‘quality custodian’ and select Issue Quality for Jira.
Click Try it free.
Click Accept & Install to confirm the app installation.
The system displays a progress message for the operation.
Set it up!
Once installed, you will get an extra menu option ‘Issue Quality for Jira’ in the Apps section of your Jira settings as well as in each Project settings.
Create your first Quality standard. Click on Issue Quality for Jira (in Jira Admin or Project admin) and create your first Quality standard. See https://effinomics.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SD/pages/10453108
Add the Jira IQ field to your screens to show the scores.
View IQ scores in your Issues
On each issue, you will see the Issue Quality score as a percentage between 0% and 100%. When an issue meets all the Quality Standards, it scores 100%.
And you can expand the full Issue Quality scores panel by clicking on the App Actions icon and choose “Quality standard scores” in the issue (below the summary).
